Spencer Nelson

Spencer is an award-winning commercial and documentary cinematographer from Mapleton, Utah. He started his film career as a young kid running around his block making short films with his friends.

He is currently a freelance cinematographer and a videographer/creative lead for Ken Garff Automotive. Spencer has a bachelors degree in Advertising and graduated from Brigham Young University with 5 years of professional film experience on top of 10 years of general film production experience.

He is passionate about filmmaking that inspires, and he has developed a strong ability to tell a story through cinematic lighting. When he's not filming, Spencer enjoys studying medieval Scandinavian culture, drawing, and being outdoors in the elements.
